About Puerto Banús

Puerto Banús is a well-known marina situated in Marbella, on the southern coast of Spain within the province of Málaga. The marina lies on the western edge of Marbella, adjacent to the Mediterranean Sea, and is easily accessible by sea and road. Its location places it within the Costa del Sol region, a popular area for both local and visiting yachtsmen.

The marina is surrounded by a developed waterfront area featuring a variety of shops, restaurants, and other amenities directly adjacent to the berthing zones. Puerto Banús is recognized for accommodating a range of vessels, from small leisure boats to larger yachts. The entrance to the marina is marked and protected by breakwaters, providing shelter from prevailing sea conditions. The port is a frequent stop for yachts cruising along the Andalusian coastline and offers direct access to Marbella’s urban amenities and transport links.

The marina is undoubtedly of luxury class, designed more for superyachts than regular sailboats, although there are plenty of those in the marina as well. Surrounding the marina are numerous expensive restaurants, shops, and clubs, so you definitely shouldn't expect a peaceful atmosphere. The marina appears much safer than Marina Marbella. The entrance is clearly marked, and there is room for maneuvering.
