About Puerto Deportivo de Marbella

Puerto Deportivo de Marbella is situated on the western side of Marbella’s urban waterfront, along the Costa del Sol in southern Spain. The marina lies immediately west of Marbella’s old town and is bordered by the city’s main promenade, providing direct pedestrian access to the town’s amenities, shops, and restaurants. Its entrance is marked by a short breakwater, and the marina basin is protected from prevailing winds and swell by surrounding moles.

The marina primarily accommodates leisure vessels and is used by both local and visiting yachts. Basic mooring facilities are present, and the quays are accessible from the adjacent promenade. The harbor is managed by local authorities, and visiting yachtsmen should contact the marina office for berth availability and entry procedures. There are no significant shipyard or haul-out facilities within the marina itself. Fuel and essential services may be available nearby, but sailors should verify current offerings in advance. The harbor’s central location makes it a convenient stop for those exploring the Andalusian coast.

I haven't entered this marina by boat, only walked in while strolling nearby. In my opinion, the marina doesn't match the city's standards. It's fine to stop by for a few hours to explore the city, but I wouldn't stay there for long. The marina has workshops and a fuel station. I didn't notice any yacht shops nearby, so it's unlikely you'll be able to buy ropes or fenders in this area.
