About the Project: Built by Sailors, for Sailors
Sailors.Tips is an independent project created by sailors, for sailors. We live and sail in the Baltic Sea, based in Pirita TOP marina in Tallinn, Estonia. We’re always open to meetings, new ideas, and feedback from fellow skippers and crews.
Who We Are
The project is driven by personal initiative and supported by the Estonian company MESF OÜ, which helps with technical and organizational aspects. We’re building a platform we want to use ourselves — with love for the sea and the sailing community.
Why We’re Doing This
We believe sailing is more than just a hobby. It’s a culture, a way of life, and a community built on knowledge, respect for the sea, and mutual support. Our goal is for Sailors.Tips to become a place where you can find reliable information, practical advice, and share your own experiences.
The site is currently non-commercial and will never make money from its users. In the future, we may collaborate with marinas, charter companies, and other commercial services. However, access to the platform and its features will always remain free for the sailing community.
Who Supports Us
Technical infrastructure and ongoing development are provided by MESF OÜ. We’re also supported by members of the sailing community — some contribute reviews, others offer advice or help with testing. We deeply appreciate everyone who sets their sails in the same direction.
