Pirita sadam is one of Tallinn’s main yacht harbours and a practical base on the eastern side of the city. It is useful for crews who want Tallinn access while staying close to the coast and the routes across the Gulf of Finland.

Plan Pirita as a busy, service-oriented marina rather than a remote cruising stop. It works well for crew changes, shore time, provisioning, and preparing for the next leg along Estonia or toward Finland.

Pirita Top Marina — a decent marina with buoy moorings. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance, which is convenient for restocking and crew recreation. Depths at the berths are suitable for most yachts, but weather conditions should be taken into account, as the bay is exposed to strong north-east winds. The marina has showers and toilets, although the quality of service and the condition of the infrastructure leave much to be desired. A good choice for a stop in Tallinn.
