About Burravoe Marina

Burravoe Marina is a small sheltered pier and community-managed marina at Burravoe on the south-eastern shore of Yell. Visitors are accepted and there are mooring options at the pier or inside the marina, and suitable holding ground for anchoring at the head of the voe. The site is managed by the local pier trust and has adjacent parking and a campsite area ashore.

Approaches are tidal and the entrance has a shallow bar with restricted depth at low water, so local tidal knowledge or daylight arrival is advised. Onshore facilities include a utility building with toilets, showers and laundry; water and electricity are available at the quayside. Diesel fuel can be provided by arrangement and there is a slip for boat launching and basic waste disposal facilities nearby.
