About Collafirth Marina
Collafirth Marina is a small marina and adjacent pier at Saltoo in Collafirth, Northmavine within the Sullom Voe harbour area. Visitor berthing is accepted and the facility provides a single visitor berth for small yachts; larger vessels may berth on the inside of the pier. The marina is independent of the council harbour authority and sits in a remote, sheltered inlet of Yell Sound.
Fresh water, shore power and waste disposal are available ashore and a slip provides boat access. The approach is straightforward in ordinary conditions, but the wider Yell Sound and Sullom Voe area is under vessel traffic service control and tidal streams can be strong. Shore services are limited locally and further supplies and services are at nearby villages.
