About St Peters Marina
St Peters Marina is a yacht marina on the north bank of the River Tyne at St Peter’s Basin, Newcastle upon Tyne. Visitor access is accepted and a waiting pontoon outside the entrance is reported to be accessible at all tide states. The marina entrance is narrow and is spanned by a lifting footbridge; approach procedures are handled by the marina office.
Berthing is on floating pontoons and finger berths with shore-power hookups and shore-side facilities reported to include toilets, showers and laundry. The marina sits a short distance from Newcastle city centre and is used by visiting yachts as well as berth holders.
