About Royal Quays Marina

Royal Quays Marina is a yacht marina set in the former Albert Edward Dock at North Shields on the River Tyne, operated by boatfolk. The facility offers fully serviced pontoons and accepts visiting craft. Entry is via a lock that operates at all states of the tide; the marina monitors VHF and provides a marina office and staff to assist with locking and berthing.

The marina provides shore power, water and Wi‑Fi at berths, shore washrooms with showers and laundry, alongside fuel supplying marine diesel and unleaded petrol, a boatyard with a travel hoist and secure shore storage, and a waterside café-restaurant. Transport links and parking are available ashore for crew and provisioning.
