About Aberdour Harbour Marina
Aberdour Harbour is a small tidal harbour on the northern shore of the Firth of Forth with a single basin sheltered by a stone pier and the adjacent headland. The facility is managed day-to-day by the Aberdour Residents Association on behalf of Fife Council. Visitor alongside berthing against the pier is provided by arrangement; the basin is shallow and dries at low water so arrivals are tidal and approach-dependent.
Berthing is typically alongside the pier where bollards and rings are available. Local boating organisations operate facilities ashore: water points and domestic shore-power sockets are available on the pier and the local boat club provides toilets, a shower and clubhouse access for visitors. There is free shore parking nearby. A voluntary Harbour Master operates on an on-call basis and vessel movements can be constrained by silting and tidal state.
