Firth of Forth marinas
The Firth of Forth in eastern Scotland combines islands, Fife’s fishing harbours, and the bridges at Queensferry.
Firth of Forth
The Firth of Forth reaches deep into Scotland’s east coast. Fife lies to the north and the Edinburgh coast to the south, with islands and several major ports within the firth.
Visitors can choose between coastal settlements and a longer passage towards the bridges at Queensferry. A stop on the south shore can be combined with a trip to Edinburgh, but its historic centre is not beside the yacht berths.
Small harbours, Queensferry’s old streets, and views of the Forth railway bridge shape the shore experience. The differences between the shores make the firth a cruising area in its own right, rather than simply an approach to one city.
