Marina del Sur

Marina del Sur lies in Las Galletas on the south coast of Tenerife, in San Miguel de Abona. The entrance is straightforward in settled coastal waters, with the marina set inside a working harbour area rather than an exposed open-roadstead berth. The position gives good shelter from Atlantic swell and makes the approach practical for visiting yachts in normal conditions. The marina serves a mixed cruising and local boating traffic, with a profile that suits short stays, fuel and service calls, and boats using the south Tenerife cruising ground. Berthing is organised for yachts up to 20 metres, with a published capacity of 344 berths and a maximum draft of 8 metres. Facilities are functional rather than luxurious, with VHF contact on channel 9 and the usual marina services expected for an active Canarian port.
