About Benfleet Yacht Club Marina
Benfleet Yacht Club is a yacht club located on the northern shore of Benfleet Creek, Canvey Island (River Crouch). The club operates a fleet of tidal moorings for members, including mid-river fore-and-aft 'trot' moorings and bankside stagings in a drying creek. Visitor access is restricted to club members; the club’s moorings and shore services are primarily provided for members rather than transient visiting yachts.
The club provides on-shore storage and laying-up facilities, a large slipway with a winch for launching and recovery on trollies, and a substantial club crane for mast and engine lifts. A clubhouse with bar and social facilities is on site. Launch, haul-out and crane operations are organised by club teams and are described as member services on the club website.
