Ramsgate marinas
Ramsgate on the east Kent coast has a historic harbour at the transition between the English Channel and the North Sea.
Ramsgate
Ramsgate stands on the eastern side of Kent. Streets and terraces rise above the Royal Harbour, with waterfront walks around its basins.
A stop here can begin a voyage along England’s east coast or follow a crossing of the southern North Sea. The harbour lies beside the town centre, so exploring ashore does not require a separate inland journey.
The waterfront’s history is linked to old quays and the rescue of vessels near the Goodwin Sands. Harbour walks can be extended through the seaside streets and towards the beach.
