Amble marinas
Amble at the Coquet mouth is a small fishing town near Northumberland’s beaches and Warkworth Castle.
Amble
Amble stands where the Coquet reaches the North Sea. Fishing and yacht harbours lie beside the town, with Northumberland’s low coast beyond the harbour works.
It offers a small-town stop between the Tyne and the Scottish border. A shore trip can continue along the Coquet towards Warkworth; the castle is a separate excursion, not a monument immediately beside the yacht berths.
The fishing waterfront, sea views, and nearby beaches give the visit its character. Coquet Island is visible offshore, adding a natural landmark to the approach, but its visibility does not imply unrestricted landing.
