Marina Emden

Marina Emden Außenhafen is located in the outer harbour of Emden, directly adjacent to the navigational channel of the River Ems. It serves as the primary entry point for yachts arriving from the North Sea or heading toward the Netherlands. Unlike the inner city marinas, access does not require navigating through multiple basins or locks. The marina is tide-dependent, with depths and manoeuvres planned around high water and strong tidal currents. Its character is practical and transit-focused rather than touristic, making it a common overnight stop or waiting point for tidal windows.
