Infrastructure is useful in the main marinas, but formalities and port rules deserve early attention, especially because of the island’s political situation and routes toward the Levant or Türkiye. Cyprus suits crews who want a warm eastern Mediterranean base and are comfortable planning longer open-coast passages.
