Marmaris marinas
Marmaris is the Carian coast hub: a well-sheltered bay, a city marina cluster, and two major complexes (Netsel downtown and Marmaris Yacht Marina at Yalancı Boğaz), with easy day hops into the Hisarönü and Gökova gulfs.
About Marmaris
Berths line the inner bay, so approaches and docking are calm and city amenities are within walking distance. The peninsula forms a natural day-sailing circuit: short legs connect the town quays, the northwest shore and the western harbours. Routes fan southeast into the Gökova Gulf and southwest into Hisarönü, both rich in weather-safe anchorages.
Tides are small; wind and pressure drive sea level and sea state. Summer brings a reliable sea-breeze pattern, while northerly phases add an “Aegean” touch—planning focuses on short hops and frequent windows.
You’ll find both urban and technical, full-service marinas here, plus several smaller facilities in nearby coves.
