🇹🇷 Türkiye

South-west Türkiye from Bodrum to Antalya: micro-tidal waters, summer Meltemi/sea-breeze patterns, a chain of sheltered gulfs (Gökova, Hisarönü, Skopea/Göcek, Kekova) and Specially Protected Areas with mooring/anchoring rules.

About Türkiye

This stretch runs from the Bodrum peninsula via Marmaris and Fethiye/Göcek to Kaş and Antalya. Cruising is day-sail style: short hops between marinas and natural havens across the Gökova, Hisarönü, Skopea (Göcek) and Kekova gulfs. Summer brings northerly Meltemi phases and reliable sea-breezes; tides are small and wind setup dominates levels and sea state. The Göcek–Dalaman and Gökova areas use buoy-mooring systems within protected zones; around Kekova the Specially Protected Area imposes restrictions over the sunken ruins. Overall, it’s a dense network of shelters and services with predictable seasonal wind logic.
