Set deep inside the bay, the harbour offers sheltered approaches and city-front berths within walking distance of supplies and transport.

Cruising is day-sail style: west into the protected Kekova area and onward to Kaş, or east along more open stretches toward Kemer and Antalya.

Tidal range is small; wind setup and pressure dominate sea level and sea state. Summer brings reliable sea-breeze/Meltemi phases, while shoulder seasons merit allowance for wind-driven surges.

Thanks to its protection and yard capacity, Finike works well as a practical long-stay base—transit, shoulder seasons, and wintering.
