About Elmsta Marina

Elmsta / Älmsta Gästhamn lies where the Väddö Canal opens into Väddöviken. It is a convenient stop for yachts using the sheltered inside route through Väddö, as well as for crews needing shore services before continuing toward the more exposed Roslagen coast and the Åland Sea.

The harbour has around 50 guest berths, with buoy or Y-boom mooring and reported depths of roughly 3–6 metres. Facilities include shore power and water at the berths, toilets, showers, laundry, Wi‑Fi, and sewage pump-out. Confirm current depths, berth availability, seasonal opening, and mooring arrangements before arrival.

Älmsta centre is within walking distance, with groceries, pharmacy, health services, marine supplies, and restaurants. Seasonal café and shop services are also available at the harbour.

A very pleasant marina. Although small, it has everything necessary. You can wait for the bridge to open, or you can stay overnight.

You can moor alongside, to a buoy, or to a pontoon finger.

Elmsta guest harbor is located at the northern mouth of the Väddö Canal.

We stopped at the marina to eat ice cream and walk the dog. At the same time we were waiting for the Älmsta bridge of the Väddö Canal to open. The three-hour stop at the marina cost 75 SEK.

The harbor attendant was very friendly and spoke good English. He came straight to help with mooring when he saw us entering the marina.

There is a small café in the marina office. You can buy ice cream, coffee, tea and snacks there. Wifi is available.

The marina has toilets, showers and a sauna. The sauna has a terrace. There you can rest between sauna sessions and cool down.

The marina provides electricity, drinking water and sewage disposal.

One of my best experiences in Roosti harbors. I recommend it!
