Väddö is a large Roslagen island, with farmland and a canal on its western side and an open-sea coast to the east.

Väddö
Väddö has two distinct sides. Along the canal, boats pass trees, meadows and the village of Älmsta; the eastern coast has sandy beaches and old fishing settlements. Farms and country roads occupy the interior. Ashore, highlights include local cheese and ice cream, walks on the Roslagsleden trail and the maritime museum near Älmsta.
