About Garachico Marina

Puerto Deportivo de Garachico lies on the north coast of Tenerife, set in an exposed stretch of shoreline where swell from the west through northeast reaches the entrance. The approach is sensitive to sea conditions, and access becomes difficult in periods of northerly weather. Once inside, the basin is well sheltered and the water is generally calm. The marina sits close to the town waterfront, with the harbour works forming the main protection. For visiting yachts, this is a practical port rather than a resort marina. Berthing is arranged on pontoons with around 194 places, and the harbour includes water, electricity, parking, waste collection, toilets and showers, a dry dock, and 24-hour security. The setting is urban and working in character, with fishing activity alongside leisure berths. It suits crews looking for a sheltered stop in Garachico with basic marina services and straightforward shore access.
