Spain Lanzarote
28° 51' 28" N, 13° 49' 58" WPort of Playa Blanca lies on the south coast of Lanzarote, where the entrance is approached directly from seaward and then brought in along the mouth of the harbour. The inner basin has a sheltered character, but the final part of the manoeuvre is constrained by the proximity of the sport dockings. The harbour is exposed to some long-period swell, and temporary conditions can create a lively motion inside.
For visiting yachts, Playa Blanca functions as a working port with a practical, mixed-use layout rather than a dedicated marina atmosphere. Shore support is basic but useful, with water, electricity, fuel for fishermen, waste collection, car parking, cleaning, and a small range of visitor services nearby. The port also supports ferry traffic, fishing activity, and local boat trips, so movements can be busy at times. Berthing space is limited by the port geometry, and the facility level is straightforward.
