Marina Rota
About Marina Rota
Puerto Deportivo de Rota lies on the northern side of the Bay of Cádiz, sheltered by Punta de la Morena and set close to the older part of Rota. The entrance is approached from open water with the harbour breakwaters and naval base area forming the main reference points. The marina sits in a working coastal setting with good protection inside the bay and a short run in from the approaches. Tidal range is significant, and the berth layout is arranged around floating pontoons and finger berths. For visiting yachts, this is a full-service marina with a practical cruising profile rather than a simple stopover berth. It handles boats up to 32 metres and offers a substantial number of berths, with fuel, water and electricity available alongside showers, toilets, laundry and shore-side support. The surrounding town gives easy access to shops, restaurants and local services, while Cádiz remains the main nearby port of call across the bay. Facilities are solid and marina-oriented, with the level of service expected for a busy Andalusian harbour.
