~ 45.23 nm ~ 9 h 3 m
The route from Tallinn to Jussarö covers approximately 45 nautical miles, typically taking around 9 hours. Departing Tallinn, navigate carefully through the busy Tallinn Bay area, watching for heavy ferry and cargo ship traffic, especially near the main shipping lanes. Maintain vigilance for shallow areas and submerged rocks when passing close to Naissaar Island.
Heading westward into the Gulf of Finland, prevailing winds during sailing season are predominantly southwesterly to westerly, occasionally shifting to northwest. Expect moderate to fresh breezes, with potential gusts near open waters. Approaching Finnish territorial waters, the route passes through areas with numerous small islands and skerries, requiring precise navigation and constant monitoring of depth soundings.
Near Jussarö, the waters become particularly challenging, with narrow channels, submerged rocks, and shifting sandbanks. Strong currents and sudden wind shifts are common here. Approach Jussarö harbor cautiously, adhering strictly to marked channels and updated charts, especially in reduced visibility or adverse weather conditions.

It is not necessary to go around the small island from the north. You can enter the marina from the east, but be sure to follow the markers.
