Jahtsadamad: Šibenik

Šibenik lies deep inside an inlet; the approach passes through a narrow sea channel after which conditions are typically much calmer than the open Adriatic. For sailors, it’s valuable as a reliable haven in unsettled weather and as a service/logistics base. 

From Šibenik you can plan two very different directions: southwest toward the islands and Kornati routes, or northeast up the Krka River to Skradin. The city is not a resort, but it is highly practical with solid shore infrastructure. 

Seasonal traffic exists, yet the inner waters usually keep maneuvering calm.
