Amasra marinas
Amasra is a small historic port with two harbours, fortress walls by the water and green slopes surrounding the town.
Amasra
Amasra occupies a small peninsula between two harbours. Fortress walls, old houses and the bridge to Boztepe give it the character of an old maritime town. Narrow streets and waterside walks offer views of the sea in several directions, with rocky shores close to the buildings.
Fish restaurants are a prominent part of local life. Fish is served with Amasra’s salad of seasonal vegetables and herbs. The historic centre, small beaches and surrounding hills make for a varied visit without travelling far from town.
