Poti
Poti is a port city on the low-lying Colchian coast, close to sandy beaches and the wetlands of Kolkheti National Park.
Poti
There are no equipped yacht marinas in this destination.
Poti combines a working seaport with leafy neighbourhoods and the sandy shore of Maltakva. Buildings from its development as a trading port survive in the city, with a large cathedral and an old lighthouse among its landmarks.
The main natural attraction is neighbouring Kolkheti National Park. Lake Paliastomi, marshy shores and wet forests show a very different side of Georgia’s coast from mountainous Ajara. Local boat tours explore the lake and the Pichori River, with opportunities to watch waterbirds.
