Stegeborg marinas

Stegeborg lies on Slätbaken, east of Mem and the entrance to Göta Canal. It is a useful stop before entering the canal or after leaving it. It also gives access to the Sankt Anna archipelago.

The harbour sits beside the ruins of Stegeborg Castle. The old castle, the water, and the oak landscape give the place a strong historic character. There is a marina, restaurant, small hotel, camping, and simple shore services.

Stegeborg suits a slower stop before a canal passage. Crews can walk to the castle ruins, eat by the water, or simply wait for a suitable time to continue toward Mem or the archipelago.

On the water, use current charts for Slätbaken and the marked fairway toward Mem. Check local depths, ferry movements, berth availability, and weather before arrival or departure.
