About Skansholmen Marina

Skansholmen is a busy, family-oriented guest harbour and waterfront complex on Mörkö operated by Skansholmen Fritid AB. The facility sits beside the Skanssundet ferry landing and is organised around a protected marina with a staffed reception/harbour host. It is run as a mixed visitor destination (camping, cabins, restaurants and a marina) and suits recreational yachts and larger pleasure craft seeking a full‑service stop in the southern Stockholm archipelago. Visitors will find practical harbour support at the reception and harbour office plus an on-site fuel station (automatic / ), shore power and fresh water alongside shower and toilet blocks, sauna, laundry and waste/pump‑out services. The site also offers boatyard gear (crane/truck, mast crane), a trailer ramp and easy shore access to dining, a shop, public transport and walking trails — making it a convenient overnight or short‑stay berth for cruising crews and families. A very quiet and pleasant marina. Many guest berths. The sauna must be booked separately. After leaving Stockholm - an excellent option for a peaceful rest.

This marina made a very good impression. I will gladly stop here again.

The marina is located in a quiet rural area, so there are no larger shops nearby. Ice cream and some basic necessities are sold at the marina office. On site there is a restaurant, an ice cream café and a fuel station.

There is electricity, water, toilets, showers, laundry facilities (paid) and a separate dishwashing room. In addition, there is sewage and garbage disposal and, if desired, you can rent a private sauna.

There is a playground and minigolf for children. The marina is well sheltered and there is almost no swell. I definitely recommend this marina, but bear in mind beforehand that there is no grocery store.
