Grisslehamn marinas

Grisslehamn lies on Sweden's northern Roslagen coast, opposite Åland. Its fishing-harbour character, ferry port, and rocky shoreline make it a practical stop before or after a crossing of the Åland Sea.

Yacht services are strongest at the marina in the western harbour. Guest berths, water, electricity, showers, Wi-Fi, laundry, pump-out, fuel, a small shop, and restaurants are available. Larger berths and technical work should be confirmed before arrival.

On shore, Grisslehamn has harbour walks, restaurants, accommodation, and the Albert Engström Museum and studio. Eckerö Linjen connects the ferry port with Berghamn on Åland in about two hours.

On the water, ferry movements and conditions in the Åland Sea are the main factors. The guest harbour is sheltered, but use current charts and check local depths, berth instructions, wind, and the ferry schedule before arrival or departure.

Best for: a sheltered stop, provisioning, a Sweden–Åland crossing, shore services, local history.

Watch out for: ferry traffic, exposed water outside the harbour, local depths, limited large berths, high-season availability.
