About Museum of the World Ocean Marina

The Museum of the World Ocean Marina is a small yacht berth in the very centre of Kaliningrad, located on the Embankment of the Historical Fleet. It is not a large full-service marina, but rather a compact city mooring area next to the museum’s main historic vessels, including the research vessel Vityaz, the B-413 submarine, the Irbensky floating lighthouse and other maritime exhibits.

The marina accepts small boats up to 14 metres in length. The museum quay is equipped with finger pontoons, and water and electricity connections are available for visiting vessels. Museum exhibitions, cafés and walking areas are located nearby, making this a convenient stop for a short stay and for exploring Kaliningrad from the water.

It is recommended to contact the museum in advance, as the marina is small and operates during the navigation season.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to reach this marina by boat yet, but the place is definitely worth a visit. The marina is a small quay by the museum. There is water and electricity on the quay. The biggest advantage is the location. Nearby is the Museum of the World Ocean, several museum ships on display, a submarine, and a seaplane. Essentially this is the center of Kaliningrad; from here you can walk to the city's main attractions.

The marina's main problem is the railway bridge at the entrance (it's unclear whether it opens, but at the very least a new bridge is under construction). There are also rather confusing rules for entry and berthing.
