Bornholm’s coasts offer very different experiences. In the north, paths follow granite cliffs and the ruins of Hammershus stand above the sea. In the south, the landscape changes to dunes and long beaches. Smokehouses remain part of the harbour towns, while pottery workshops and distinctive round churches can be found around the island. Allow time for trips by land too: the main sights are spread across Bornholm.
