Weymouth
Weymouth has two nearby but different waterfronts. One is a broad sandy beach with a resort promenade and Georgian façades. The other is a narrow old harbour where fishing boats and yachts lie beside houses, pubs and cafés.
The appeal is straightforward seaside time: walks by the water, watching harbour life and spending a day on the beach. The harbour quarter remains a working part of town as well as a historic attraction.
