Salcombe
Salcombe is a small resort town on an estuary, with sandy coves, green hills and busy boating life.

At Salcombe, the sea reaches inland between green slopes, with houses rising above the water. Yachts, small boats and ferries keep the estuary lively, especially in summer. The centre has plenty of shops and cafés, but the shoreline is the main attraction.
The sandy beaches of East Portlemouth face the town. Beaches, rocky stretches and waterside paths make Salcombe a place for an unhurried stay by the estuary as well as a harbour stop.
