Conwy marinas
Conwy is an estuary with a castle and medieval town on one bank and the waterfront settlement of Deganwy on the other.
Conwy
Conwy’s defining view is its castle and town walls above the river. The old town is compact, with narrow streets, small shops and pubs close to the quay. Boats and sandy banks exposed by the tide remain part of the estuary scene.
Across the water, Deganwy has a more open waterfront, a beach and views back towards the castle. The two shores offer different experiences of the same estuary: a medieval town and a quieter seaside setting.
