About Sparkes Marina
Sparkes Marina is a mixed marina and boatyard on the south‑east tip of Hayling Island at the entrance to Chichester Harbour. The marina operates visitor berthing and an outer pontoon where visiting boats are usually taken alongside; the on‑site marina office handles arrivals and reception and visitors may book in advance online. The facility is operated by MDL and sits just inside the harbour entrance on the starboard side of the approach channel.
The site provides fuel (petrol and diesel), 24‑hour toilets and showers, laundry and marina Wi‑Fi, plus a waterside restaurant. There is a boatyard with lifting capability and a dry‑stack area for smaller boats, and basic marine engineering and GRP repair services are available. Environmental disposal facilities (pump‑out and waste reception) are listed for the location.
