Viveiro marinas

Viveiro stands at the mouth of the River Landro, at the head of an inlet on Galicia’s northern coast. Its old centre retains narrow streets, small squares and gates from the former town walls. Green hills rise above the houses, with views across the ria and out to sea.

The beach and promenade of Covas stretch along the western shore. Across the inlet is the working fishing port of Celeiro, with Area beach farther towards the entrance. This compact area combines a historic town, everyday fishing-coast life and long sandy shores.
