San Sebastián–Pasaia marinas
San Sebastián–Pasaia is a stretch of Basque coast where city beaches and food culture sit alongside a narrow sea entrance to historic fishing neighbourhoods.
San Sebastián–Pasaia
San Sebastián sits around La Concha Bay between green coastal hills. Long beaches, promenades and elegant city neighbourhoods give it a resort atmosphere. Narrow streets in the old town are filled with pintxo bars serving small Basque dishes; food is one of the main reasons to spend time ashore.
To the east, beyond the rocky Ulia coast, lies Pasaia. A narrow entrance between steep slopes leads to a working port, where the old houses of Pasai Donibane and San Pedro stand beside the water. Albaola, a museum and workshop devoted to traditional wooden shipbuilding, explores the area’s maritime history.
