Muxía–Camariñas marinas
Muxía–Camariñas is a Galician bay area with two fishing towns, sandy coves and the rocky headlands of the Costa da Morte.
Muxía–Camariñas
Muxía and Camariñas stand on opposite shores of the Ría de Camariñas. Inside the bay, small beaches and green slopes sit beside fishing ports, while the shore becomes rocky towards the ocean entrance. Maritime work remains part of everyday life in both towns.
In Muxía, the Virxe da Barca sanctuary stands beside the water among large granite rocks. Camariñas is known for its bobbin-lace tradition. Beyond the town, Cape Vilán and its lighthouse above steep cliffs form one of the characteristic landscapes of the Costa da Morte.
