Isla Cristina–Punta del Moral marinas
Isla Cristina–Punta del Moral is a fishing coast around the Carreras mouth, with salt marshes, long sandy beaches and the resort shore of Isla Canela.
Isla Cristina–Punta del Moral
Isla Cristina and Punta del Moral stand on opposite sides of the Carreras mouth in western Andalusia. Isla Cristina remains a working fishing town, with its port, fish processing and seafood restaurants woven into everyday life. Punta del Moral combines an older fishing settlement with a yacht harbour and modern resort development.
Wide beaches stretch along the ocean shores of Isla Canela and Isla Cristina. Inland, channels wind through salt marshes, mudflats and salt pans. This flat, open landscape is particularly interesting for birdwatching.
