Grado marinas

Grado is a compact resort town on an island in the northern Adriatic lagoon system. It has a historic centre, beaches, restaurants, hotels, and easy access to the Gulf of Trieste.

Yacht support is practical but limited compared with larger cities. The area has marinas, fuel, water, electricity, basic technical services, storage, and some repair options. Provisioning is usually straightforward in season. More complex work is better confirmed in advance.

On shore, Grado has a calm resort rhythm. It works well for crew rest, local supplies, and a pause before moving toward the northern Adriatic coast, Slovenia, or Croatia.

On the water, shallow water is the main factor. Use marked channels and check depths, sandbanks, lagoon rules, and the selected marina approach. Bora can also affect comfort in the northern Adriatic.
