About ACI Marina Palmižana

ACI Marina Palmižana is situated on the northeastern coast of Sveti Klement Island, part of the Pakleni Islands archipelago near Hvar, Croatia. Although commonly associated with Split due to regional proximity, the marina is actually closer to the town of Hvar, serving as a popular stopover for sailors exploring the Dalmatian coast. Its sheltered location provides protection from prevailing winds, making it a reliable anchorage point for yachtsmen navigating the Adriatic Sea.

The marina offers essential facilities for visiting sailors, including mooring services, electricity, water supply, and sanitary amenities. Visitors can access nearby restaurants and cafes within walking distance, providing convenient dining options. Regular water taxi services connect Palmižana with Hvar town, allowing easy access to additional services, provisions, and cultural attractions on the mainland.

ACI Marina Palmižana is known for its natural surroundings, characterized by lush Mediterranean vegetation and clear waters. The island setting offers opportunities for swimming, snorkeling, and exploring secluded coves. Due to its popularity during peak sailing season, advance reservations are advisable.

Upon entering the harbor, helpful port workers were already there to guide us where to dock and assist with securing the lines.

Stepping onto the island, my first impression was that I had arrived in a botanical garden. The nature was very beautiful.

There were shower, toilet, and laundry facilities available. The harbor had two small shops and several small restaurants. There was also a playground for children and an outdoor gym.

A beautiful 15-minute walk leads from the harbor to the beach.

I really like this marina. The location is very picturesque, and the staff is pleasant. It has all the amenities. There is a botanical garden and a beach nearby. Restaurants are also close. I paid 100 euros for docking a 37-foot boat.
