Jahtsadamad: Portorož

Portorož lies in a wide bay south of Piran and historically developed as a resort rather than a commercial harbor. Unlike Piran, the town focuses on comfort, services, and longer stays, which is clearly reflected in its marina infrastructure. Approaches are straightforward, the harbor area is spacious, and maneuvering is easy even for larger yachts. Berths are well protected from swell, making Portorož a preferred location for overnight stays and basing. 

Yacht services, charter companies, maintenance facilities, and provisioning are all concentrated here alongside full resort amenities ashore. For sailors, Portorož functions as a practical base and logistical hub rather than a scenic stop.
