Aegina is the Athens-near hub of the Saronic: town-quay berths in Aegina Town and easy day hops to Perdika, Souvala and Agia Marina; waters are micro-tidal with a reliable summer breeze and busy weekend traffic.
Cruising is day-sail style with close shelters around the island.
Aegina Town is the primary landfall: stern-/bow-to on the town quay; allow for ferry wash and keep off the quay. Depths are ~2–2.5 m along parts of the north quay and deeper toward the west end of the south quay.
To the north lies quieter Souvala; to the SW, compact Perdika with quick hops to the anchorages off Moni; on the east side, Agia Marina offers a small harbour and fair-weather anchorages.
Conditions are micro-tidal and wind-driven; weekday turnover is good, but weekends and evenings can be crowded.
