Vadstena Marina

One of those stops on the Göta Canal that is definitely worth visiting, although this marina is not on the Göta Canal marinas list and is paid separately. The main feature of the place is the castle right on the water. You can moor, including on buoys near the castle; I personally moored stern-to, and I found that the most convenient option. Local boats also moor between posts, but that is less relevant for tourists.

The marina has a convenient fuel station and a mast crane. Electricity was quite a distance from my berth — I had to run the cable the whole length. The infrastructure is generally a bit old, roughly a 4 out of 5, but everything necessary is there: showers and toilets are in a separate building. There is a small restaurant in the harbormaster's office; I didn't go in myself, but the place looked quite lively.

I had no depth problems or echo-sounder warnings. Basically, if a yacht's draft is suitable for passing the Göta Canal, then the depths here are roughly the same. I didn't notice any rocks or other difficulties when entering.

Despite being a tourist spot, it's quite peaceful and calm at night. There's a park and a small beach next to the berths. I was there with children, and for a family stop this is a great place: quiet, atmospheric, and yet very close to the town. I definitely recommend stopping here for at least one night.

Пришвартоваться можно в том числе на буях возле замка; лично я стоял лагом, и мне это показалось самым удобным вариантом. Местные лодки также стоят между столбами, но для туристов это менее актуально.

В марине есть удобная заправка и кран для мачт. Электричество было довольно далеко от моего места — пришлось растягивать кабель на всю длину. Инфраструктура в целом немного старая, примерно на 4 из 5, но всё необходимое есть: душевые и туалеты находятся в отдельном здании. В капитанерии есть ресторанчик; сам я туда не заходил, но место выглядело довольно оживлённым.

По глубинам никаких проблем или предупреждений эхолота у меня не было. По сути, если яхта подходит по осадке для прохождения Гёта-канала, то и здесь глубины примерно соответствующие. Каких-либо камней или других сложностей при заходе я не заметил.

Несмотря на туристическое место, ночью здесь довольно тихо и спокойно. Рядом с причалами парк и небольшой пляж. Я был с детьми, и для семейной остановки это отличное место: тихое, атмосферное и при этом совсем рядом с городом. Однозначно рекомендую остановиться здесь хотя бы на одну ночь.

Vadstena guest harbour is located right by Vadstena Castle. Part of the marina is situated in the castle moat. The marina is well protected in most weather conditions.

You can berth on buoys or alongside the quay.

Vadstena is a very good place for a longer stay. The town has many historic buildings. The most famous are Vadstena Castle and the monastery area. In the town centre there are shops, cafés and restaurants.

The marina has electricity, showers and toilets. There is also laundry facilities. Next to the marina there is a fuel station where you can also refuel a sailing yacht.

Vadstena is a good place for one or two nights. The town is very close to the marina and can be reached on foot.

Vadstena külalissadam asub otse Vadstena lossi juures. Osa sadamast asub lossi vallikraavis. Sadam on enamiku ilmastikuolude korral hästi kaitstud.

Silduda saab poidega või kai ääres.

Vadstena on väga hea koht pikemaks peatumiseks. Linnas on palju ajaloolisi hooneid. Kõige tuntumad on Vadstena loss ja kloostri piirkond. Kesklinnas on poed, kohvikud ja restoranid.

Sadamas on elekter, dušid ja WC. Olemas on ka pesupesemise võimalus. Sadama kõrval on tankla, kus saab tankida ka purjekat.

Vadstena on hea koht üheks või kaheks ööks. Linn on sadamale väga lähedal ja seal saab jalgsi liikuda.
