Jonsboda marinas

Jonsboda is a small village on the western section of Göta Canal, east of Töreboda. The canal passes through open countryside here, making Jonsboda a calmer stop than the larger canal towns.

The village is centred on Jonsboda Bridge and the canal-side guest harbour. In summer there is a café and camping nearby, while the canal bank is a good place to walk, rest, and watch passing boats.

Jonsboda suits crews who want a simple overnight in a quiet rural setting. It is also a convenient break between the busier canal stops around Töreboda, Lyrestad, and Vassbacken.

On the water, follow the canal timetable and local instructions. Check guest-berth availability before arrival, especially in summer.
