Holmsund
Holmsund is a coastal settlement at the mouth of the Umeälven, with a working port, a sawmill heritage and Ljumviken’s sandy beach.

Marinas in this destination have not yet been added to the catalogue.
Holmsund grew around timber exports and still has the character of a working port settlement. The old buildings of Västerbacken recall that past, while Ljumviken beach lies close to the yacht harbour. It is a place for a short stop ashore, a swim and a walk through the settlement. Visiting central Umeå requires a separate journey.
