Danderyds kommun marinas

Small municipality with limited public berths. Sheltered inner-archipelago waters (Edsviken, Stocksundet). Use local boat harbours or nearby full-service marinas in Lidingö/Vaxholm.

Danderyds kommun

Danderyds kommun lies north of central Stockholm along Lilla Värtan and Edsviken, with narrow passages at Stocksundet. The municipality itself provides only small local boat harbours and community/club berthing close to Djursholm and Stocksund; these are primarily for resident boats with limited guest capacity. There is no large commercial fuel marina inside Danderyd — full-service facilities (fuel, pump-out, larger repairs) are found in neighboring Lidingö and Vaxholm.

Sailing conditions: generally sheltered inner-archipelago waters but with restricted channels (Stocksundet) where traffic and localized currents can be significant; keep to marked fairways and consult official charts for shoals and depths. Typical cruising season is spring–autumn; ice can affect navigation in winter. Use up-to-date Swedish maritime charts (Sjökort), AIS/VHF monitoring and local depth sounder when transiting narrow straits.

Facilities: expect basic mooring, shore power and water at some private/community harbours; showers and fuel are not reliably available municipally. For marina services, technical work,
