Bromma marinas
Bromma has limited sailing infrastructure—small private docks on Ulvsundasjön/Mälaren; no large public marina. Use central Stockholm or outer Mälaren marinas for full services.
About Bromma
Bromma is a primarily residential district on the western edge of Stockholm with shoreline on Ulvsundasjön and the Mälaren lake system. There is no large, public full‑service marina within Bromma itself; shoreline facilities consist mainly of small private jetties, local boat clubs and slipways rather than commercial guest marinas.
For berthing and full services (fuel diesel/petrol, potable water, shore power, showers/toilets, pump‑out) use nearby Stockholm marinas or marinas elsewhere on Mälaren—these larger facilities are located in central Stockholm and on adjacent Mälaren shores (for example, marinas in Stockholm city and on Ekerö/Mälaren islands). Small boat clubs along Ulvsundasjön may offer seasonal moorings and launching but typically do not provide fuel or commercial provisioning.
Navigation tips: operate as on inland waters—watch shallow shorelines, marked fairways and local buoyage in Mälaren; water levels are regulated and there is negligible tidal current but frequent summer recreational traffic. Typical sailing season runs late spring to early autumn. Historically, Mälaren and Stockholm waterways have long been regional trade routes; Bromma’s shoreline has served local boating and industrial uses rather than large commercial harbour operations.
